* If an accommodation also has dining facilities and conference facilities at the same address, it counts as one single unit.
** A chain is defined as units with identical brands and same concepts, which certify at least 5 hotels and apply for a licence coordinated as well as have coordination during the validity period of the licences.
*** A new entity is not charged an annual usage fee in the same year the application is received, even if the licence is granted that year. Upon renewal, both the renewal fee and the annual usage fee will be invoiced.
**** The renewal fee only applies if the application has been signed and submitted before end of the validity of the licence. Else the normal application fee will apply.
***** Administrative tasks that takes less than 1 hour will not be invoiced.
